Artist Statement Brief

In my paintings, sculptural objects, installations, and non-art art projects, I am concerned with taking a chaotic confluence of visual elements along with broad ideas about consciousness and organizing them in a way to create a kind of space that tells a story that relates to our collective psychic life. Pure life force is eternally hopeful, but life is also predatory and full of oppressive dangers. I try to combine both elements in my work.
